Bournemouth James 0 Posted October 21, 2003 Heres a picture or a corrado with its arches rolled out and smoothed over:
C. Will Corrado G60 2 0 Posted October 22, 2003 I've gone for an 8" wheel instead as the work involved to make 9" fit would change the look of the arches which is something I don't want to do. Having Coilovers is making it harder as well due to the spring hitting the wheel. Cheers
W3RKD 0 Posted October 22, 2003 fitting coilovers makes fitting a whole load easier ... look at one compared to a std rear shock /spring assy and look how thick a std set up it it would rub alot more...
C. Will Corrado G60 2 0 Posted October 22, 2003 Not true... Yes the spring set up is smaller on coilovers but springs on the std set up do not come low enough to touch the wheel so only leaving the strut. Result lots more space...
W3RKD 0 Posted October 22, 2003 ok i suppose it depends on how low you are running the car ... all i can say is that i have fitted and run for over a yr 9-16"s and they have never come anywahere near to touching my koni coilovers ...
