robster 0 Posted February 19, 2007 Hi, Searched these and couldn't find a previous thread although i am sure there is one someplace. Please direct me to it if there is one. 2 questions: 1) Just changed my abs pump, had to drain all fluid to do so. Is it just the standard procedure of bleeding brakes to replace fluid and get flow through abs pump as new one was dry on fitting. 2) VAG.Com tool, can anyone tell me more on this as it seems to be mentioned a lot on site. Is there a programme and connection to buy for diagnosis etc.? Seen it been mentioned when doing my search in relation to above. Thanks, Rob.
Crasher 3 Posted February 19, 2007 The procedure for bleeding the ABS ITT MK4 system (not as in Golf 4) is the standard procedure. It is only with Mk20 that you have to jump through hops. VAG-COM is an incredibly good and useful tool and I would recommend http://www.ilexa.co.uk .
