Nugget 0 Posted February 26, 2007 I think I have a problem with a wheel bearing (not sure if front or rear). Would anyone be able to: a) give my guidance on diagnosing if the wheel bearings are causing the problem; b) offer a link to a post of the forum/elsewhere on the www where changing the bearings are described. Thanks in advance
herisites 0 Posted February 26, 2007 If its the front wheel bearing you will need a hub press to get them out/in but i believe the rears are easier. Is there a droning noise? And if so does it get louder as you go round a bend? If so then it could definately be the wheel bearing. If it gets louder when turning right ie round a roundabout then its on the left side thats gone and vice versa.
