Rear ABS sensors off GSF - Mk3 Golf?

VAG ABS rear sensors for the 16v are a tad expensive. GSF only list the rear ABS for the Golf (Mk3); one being upto 1994 for £60+/each and then 1995 onwards for £30(roughly)/each. The guy at GSF described them as looking the same.

 

Anyone know which ones will do the job for the c?

ps - quick question: what pads do people use on the front? I plan to run the G60 280 discs and am not sure if padgid will be upto the job.

i need a rear abs sensor for my mk3 golf gti.... thanks for letting me know the prices... i havent a clue if it will fit a corrado... sorry :( ;)

Had to give VAG the chasis number, so they could give me the part number. GSF were then able to find the correct part - and no there are not off a Mk3.

I'm looking at the rear ABS sensor for my corrado too but for a '92 VR6. Will the Golf MK3 one fit?

Part number for the rear speed sensor(ABS) on a golf is 1H0 927 807D

and for a Corrado VR6 is 1H0 927 807A

 

So i doubt if it would fit, think the C had its own ABS sensors but could be wrong

Euro Car Parts sell the sensor for £40.60 plus the VAT for the VR6

Dunno if they are all the same?

What's it with rear sensors...........my LHR one has just gone. GPC sell them as well for £51 delivered. Stealers wanted £80. Make sure you get the correct one for the age of car.
