Supercharged 2 Posted March 16, 2007 Check the boots between the door and body, wires maybe shorting on the chassis and moving when you open / close...
ace666 0 Posted March 17, 2007 ok thanks for the advice but do you no which fuse the door mirrors are on and where is the fuse box on a valver ? thanks for your help :)
Walesy 0 Posted March 18, 2007 The fuse box is behind the lower dash tray on the very right hand side (where your right knee is assuming you have a RHD) You need to undo a couple of clips and it will slide out. On the back of the tray you remove is a list of what fuse is for what. You might find that the switch just needs a bit of contact cleaner as they suffer from damp due to water dripping in when the window's open.
alex darcy 0 Posted March 21, 2007 yeah, probably contact pad on the switch, mine used to do it if i didnt move them for a while, after a quick rough wiggle, they came back to life every time

dinkus 10 Posted March 28, 2007 As Walsey says - if it happens again - get some Contact Cleaner on it. Also good for cleaning MAFs :D
