RS bumper fitting - Do I need the vent to the intercooler?

Hi guys,

After taking off the old bumper and hammeriting everything in sight I will be ready to fit the RS bumper replacement for my badger damager original.........

What is the general concencus. Is it nessesary to refit the duct form the bumper to the intercooler or will there be sufficient cooling.

TBH when I have the money she will be getting a fmic in the future anyway and prob an oil cooler where the existin cooler is at the mo.....
