Supercharged 2 Posted May 1, 2007 Yep - altho VR (Plus) is M14 TBH studs are good if your constantly changing wheels but I manage ok with bolts but I do have a MetalNerd locating tool...
dinkus 10 Posted May 2, 2007 MetalNerd? Studs could be useful if the locating screws have died on your brake disks, but that's a lotta money!
vwdeviant 0 Posted May 2, 2007 MetalNerd? Studs could be useful if the locating screws have died on your brake disks, but that's a lotta money! It's a locating bar (basically a long stud..) That's what's happened to mine both have sheared... Plus it makes changing a flat a doddle rather than having to balace a wheel on your best Suit/Jeans at the road-side.... vwdeviant 0 Posted May 2, 2007 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Extended-wheel-st ... dZViewItem These were the sort of thing I was originally thinking about IMHO I'd feel safer with flanged studs rather than "Loctite" studs... Wonder if he'll do 12x1.5?
