Matty Newquay 0 Posted May 3, 2007 Okay tried doing a serch but still dnt rele know how to use it properly! Basically i bought my 1.8 16v @ start of feb, before hand it was left in a garage for 12 months! It had 12 mot on it when i parted with my cash! So all is good since then i've replaces various hoses bulbs and just cleaned her up! But here's the problem after about a a month of owning her after doing both front wheel bearings i noticed the breaks were feeling more and more spongy! I bled the brakes and all was good for a week or so! So replaced all brake fluid in system, and again it was ok for about a week! So for about a 3 weeks ive been bleeding my brakes! not good! However there is no fluid lost! And i cant see any leaking from any of the calipers! Any ideas! As just bought new coil overs and cant afford a garage this month??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Cheers! Oh sorry about the spelling!?!?!?
Andi 2,147,483,647 Posted May 3, 2007 Perhaps helps if you spell brakes correctly ;) Typing 'spongey brakes' in the white search box at the top of the page yields all this lot. Even gives you the option of spongey and spongy spellings...! Have a read...
