BBS RXII's over 312's?? anyone done it? do they fit?

As it says it the title really, got BBS RXII's in 16x7 (mk3 golf anni rims)and it's finally time to sort the brakes out to 312's, i'm going to get a set this weekend from the friendly chaps down at TT roadsport but i dont wanna spend the money only to find they dont fit!

 

Has anyone tried this combo? i'm just a bit concerned cos all TT's with these brakes seem to run at least 17's... i like the look of the C on the 16's so i dont really wanna change the wheels if it can be avoided

VR6 on here has had 312's under 16's but had to grind the calliper slightly so they are tight but it can be done, aslong as your not using Brembo callipers!

Cheers dude, i phoned the TT shop earlier and seemed to think they would but said i could try a wheel on a TT hub to see if it'd fit, if VR6 has them that sounds like it should be ok :-)
