O2M gearbox on a Corrado g60 - how dificult?

Who can help me out here? I´ve this conversion posted but not details?

 

Can i put a O2M on a Corrado G60?

In what cars do i find a O2M gearbox

How dificult is it?

Any mods necessary?

What about cables and linking mechanins? Do you use the ones from the O2M or maintain the originals?

It's proabably best to use all the O2M parts, think O2M's have larger driveshaft flanges though, only the NA 1.8 20v and Beetles have the 100mm flanges.

O2M would be 6 speed cars, Seat Leons, some late mk4 GTI's and the like, don't think you'd want the ratios from a 6sp diesel motor though, possibly too high gearing?

afaik, you'll need custom driveshafts, as the flanges are further apart on the 02M boxed than on the 02a/02j. I'm sure there is quite a bit of info on here somewhere about them, if you do a search :wink:

O2M is the 6 speed 24v gearbox.
