Engine not starting properly and races then dies totally!!

Tried starting car today and have to put foot to floor to get it going, when it starts you get a few pops then it races up to bout 3000revs then drops and dies?!

 

Any ideas anyone?!

its going to garage tomorrow night but i just wanted to get an idea as a lot of garages haven got a clue bout the g60 engine!

Seems like an ignition problem to me... :?

 

Check the spark plugs and also the blue temperature sensor! 8)

 

If they´re OK, check the fuel pump aswell.
