ABS Light on: 00276 ABS Outlet Valve - Right Rear (N136)

Anyone know what I do now to get this fixed? I know nada... but I'm told by the garage that I need a new ABS pump. Is this true if I get the following vag com error: 00276 ABS Outlet Valve - Right Rear (N136)? Any tips much appreciated, Mark
