davidwort 0 Posted July 16, 2007 If you also stick a VR engine in it... :D so helpful :roll: :wink: just to elaborate a bit, the VR6 has a fully electronic ignition/injection system controlling the injectors directly, the 16v systems are quite different, the 1.8's having no electronic control of the main injectors at all (mechanical fuel injection) the ECU only controlls ignition advance. the 2.0 16v ECU is a different part and has some basic 'influence' on fuel delivery(to help it run with a CAT mainly) but is based on the same system as the 1.8 16v.
