dudemc 0 Posted August 13, 2007 Hi there everyone. I have a 1991 2.0 16v corrado with a GTI Engineering engine conversion RE 2000 with 170bhp I want to upgrade my exhaust can anyone tell me whats best to do to it? Ive been told its the same as the 1.8 or the 2.0 standard cars. But am thinking about 4 branch manifold and maybe straight through pipe with a scorpian back box. What do you all think? Also can anyone advise me where to get one and also get it fitted? I live east London. Many thanks Mark,
StuartFZR400 0 Posted August 14, 2007 presume therefore you need a GTI manifold and downpipe, then somehow convert into the Corrado size (if not the same size/dia), which is easily done with aftermarket stuff. Sorry, dont know East London and who does what there. Just phone around for quotes locally. I personally knew that Magnex was local to me, as to was a Supersprint place; the onlt 2 for my preferences - although ended up buying the fruity original back box, as it still sounds sweet low down, but quiet generally. You'll soon learn who does them for a Corrado, negotiating that funny over the rear beam bit. Being a pre-1992, de-CAT is fine too.
