mondy 0 Posted August 21, 2007 Hi, I'm thinking of getting some bigger inlet/exhaust valves for my G60 and had a few questions. From looking at posts on here and other places it seems 40mm inlet and 35mm exhaust are about the most common sizes - anyone have any other recommendations? What's involved with fitting different valves? I'm guessing the head needs machining? Does anyone have any recommendations for someone to do this in the Midlands (preferably Nottingham) area? What sort of price should I expect to pay for getting the head machined? Thanks, David.
Crasher 3 Posted August 21, 2007 The inlet valves are 40-mm as standard and I leave them that size but change the exhausts to 35-mm. I am in Nottingham and no one local can do this work properly so I send mine to two companies down south, one for inserting the seats/skimming and the other for the porting work
mondy 0 Posted August 21, 2007 ah - that's typical, all the decent places seem to be down south! Have you got the contact details for them both?
