Spongy brakes after being bled

Recommended Posts

Just renewed my brake fluid and flexy hoses, and bled all the callipers but there still seems to be ar in the system as the pedal is still really soft. Heard someone on here mention a bleed point on the clutch master or abs pump. Am i just talking bollocks or does anyone have any pointers ? :(

There's a couple of bleed nipples on the ABS pump and then the one I normally find makes the difference is the one on the end of the master cylinder.

There is a point on the clutch slave cyl (on top of gearbox) - won't make any difference to the brakes tho...

How did you bleed it?? - if it's drivable it's well worth paying £20 to get it pressure bled at VW etc...

Ross - have a look when you go in, they usually have a menu of servicing prices and at the bottom brake fluid change - usually about £22 + vat (it's only a 15min job with the kit they have!)
