faulty lambda sensor?

Recommended Posts

been trying to get to the problem of this for a while.

basicly

my G60 feals sluggish and then all of a sudden it goes, i have no boost leaks and a healthy charger, the old genuine lambda was looking abit old and the wires chaffed, in the boot i found a new lambda (aftermarket) i checkd the oart numbers out and it was the correct one for my car, fitted it and it seams to sort it......then after a few hundred miles back to normal, i have replaced the blue and black water temp sensors.

basicly the owner before has cut the engine harness where it connects to the lambda sensor, and then crimpd small speaker terminals onto the lambda sensor connector. I took the wires of and noted where they came from but as i didnt cut the wires i am can not be 100% sure they are in the correct place, can someone tell me what colour wire should go to what terminal on the plug? i know it might be hard to explain.

if needed i can go and see what colour wires of the engine lambda harness s connected to the lambda harness if this helps?

thanks

simon

p.s. i want to make sure these are the correct way around first then i think im going to get a genuine vag lambda sensor.
