vwdeviant 0 Posted September 21, 2007 Ok strange question but how much work is involved in retro-fitting ABS into a non-ABS car? Pump (obviously) Sensors and Triggers Wiring loom... anything else?
Supercharged 2 Posted September 21, 2007 Master Cyl, resevoir, Servo, BPPS, the 4 wheel sensors, pump unit, ECU, wiring loom(s), relays, Dash Light, front Hubs, rear ABS cages, pump feed pipes, brake pipes and so on... you can see why it was a £1600 option! gc 0 Posted September 22, 2007 Here is a thread on upgrading from the original 3 channel Corrado ABS system to a later 4 channel one from the Passat. It should give you a rough idea of what is involved. http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5943
