Philuk 0 Posted October 30, 2007 it is advised that you use spring compressors when you are doing someinth like taking the springs apart from the shockers . Not a necessity but advised, a "twanging" ( what a nice word) spring could result in a night in hospital lol especially if y or your mates whoever is the unfortunate one to have to push down, just happens to slip or let go :shocked!:
VR6 0 Posted October 30, 2007 Nah, spring compressors are for wimps. ....and what has this got to do with the engine?! Moving.
Jim Bowen 1 Posted October 31, 2007 its pretty straight forward job rear shocks have 1 bolt at bottom and you need to undo mount at top, remove parcel shelf supports first front is similar, two bolts on bottom of strut, undo top mounts.
