G60DUBBA 0 Posted January 31, 2008 Whats happening people, im buying a g60 very soon, can anybody give me a quote on how much it would cost for a cambelt change on a corrado g60? it has 117k on the clock, the owner checked the cambelt around 2k ago and said all was fine, but couldn't find the receipt for it, it has full vw stamps from new up to 112k and history from new. Basically i want to know how much it would cost for a cambelt change, because once ive bought it, i want to take it to the garage to get it checked and changed possibly, can anybody enlighten me with a possible price for this. Regards.
Supercharged 2 Posted January 31, 2008 Maybe 3 Hours labour + £50 for the Cambelt kit and 2 other belts that may as well be done at the same time...
Jay2 0 Posted February 1, 2008 This is also on my 'to do' list in the next few months. Supercharged, what other belts would you recomend getting done at the same time for 'peace of mind'? Cheers.
Supercharged 2 Posted February 1, 2008 Well, you have to take the PAS belt and charger belt off to do the cambelt so unless they are very recent you may as well stick new ones back on - Charger belt is about £15 and PAS is £
Walesy 0 Posted February 1, 2008 I seem to remember paying around £150 last time I had it done.
