mindenboonhead 0 Posted February 1, 2008 I have heated seats in my car. However the passenger side one has stopped working. When I switch both on when the engine is not running (But the electrics are on) I do hear a very quiet clicking sound coming from the nearside rear passenger seats as I turn each one on. This tells me, as the switch isn't broke, so it must be something between the clicky sound in the rear of the car and the passenger seat. Any ideas? junkie 0 Posted February 1, 2008 The clicking sound is the relays so 1 might be foobared.

too hot 0 Posted February 1, 2008 [ where are they? Behind the nearside rear passenger door panel thingymajig? Yeah thats exactly where they are. I think there are two so you could just try swapping them over to see if the passenger side works with the drivers relay :)

I think there are two so you could just try swapping them over to see if the passenger side works with the drivers relay :) There are two relays, so try swapping them over. They are big bucks to replace though, about £45 -50 each IIRC. I think you can run a 12v supply straight into the seats to establish if the elements are working (that's what I did to check mine before I fitted them). dinkus 10 Posted February 4, 2008 It might be a broken wire in the heated pad, but worth checking the relays first. There's a guide on how to fix the heater pad here - http://the-corrado.net/wiki/index.php/H ... eat_repair
