myles 0 Posted March 22, 2008 looking for help. 95 corrado vr6 starts but cuts out after two seconds.i have disabled the cobra alarm and it does not change things. the car was running perfectly up until this problem. it reminds me of a fault in the old ignition systems when the feedback to the coil was broken. anybody got any ideas, thanks a million. tonedef 9 Posted March 22, 2008 Or the immobiliser, had the same thing with mine and fixed it by swapping the reader coil around the ignition switch.
nemesis360 0 Posted March 22, 2008 Probably the imobiliser, the connection for the reader coil can get a bit groggy after a while so it might be worth disconecting the plug and spraying some wd40 in there and see if it cures it. Follow the wire from the reader thats wrapped round the ignition barrel to the box under the dash and thats the connector you need to clean.
