M23 Spire 0 Posted April 1, 2008 Hi I think there is a possibility that my 1992 2.0L 16v has had a new cylinder head at some point and it was from a 1.8L model. This might sound odd as I drive the car, but how do you think this affects the running and performance etc (Its the only Corrado I've ever driven so I have nothing to compare it too). There are no obvious problems and it averages 28-30mpg on the daily grind. Cheers for your help / opinions
davidwort 0 Posted April 1, 2008 little or no difference, the late 16v heads have slightly different water ways around the inlet ports but as a standard head it makes no difference, the only 16v heads that are majorly different are the mk3 16v ones, these have different valves and associated parts and breathe slightly better in standard form.
