DustyMauve 0 Posted April 17, 2008 I know there's very comprehensive 24v into 12v thread on here but i'm looking to put a 2.8 24v into my 2.0 16v and couldnt see anything on here. I wouldnt be looking to do it myself, i'll be looking to employ a tuner/company to do this as i wouldnt be mechanicly confident enough tbh. I'm looking to see has anyone done this before? What are the expected costs to have a 250brake drive-in drive-out conversion? Also who should i approach about taking on such a conversion? I've mailed a reputable tuner a few weeks back and am disappointed to say they have not replied... I can understand that they probably do get a lot of timewaisters mailing them but i'm not one of them! Pity they didnt get back to me as i've seen their work at ultimate dubs and it is 110%... Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated Ray
boost monkey 0 Posted April 17, 2008 Ray, if you're having a company do it for you, you're really better off asking them all your questions. Those on here who have done the 24v swap will probably have information which you won't require as you're not doing the swap yourself. hth, Jon. DustyMauve 0 Posted April 17, 2008 Cheers Jon, just looking for a bit of background info before i get talking to a tuner...
boost monkey 0 Posted April 17, 2008 I know dubsport would do this kind of thing, but whether they are reputable and/or near you I have no idea. Also, try phoning the tuner you emailed, you will probably get a much quicker response as most tuners receive tons of emails each day. hth.
