MonkeyVR6 0 Posted May 20, 2008 Hey chaps, just a quickie, the other day I was cleaning the car and was a silly willyhead and managed to kinda break my rear 'Corrado' badge, so I need a new one and being the OCD freak I am it also means I'll have to buy a rear 'VR6' badge so their 'newness' (good word) matches... Anyone know roughly how much they are at the dealership? I'm going tomorrow anyway, as the cars getting serviced, just want to have an idea. Cheers. D. Supercharged 2 Posted May 20, 2008 Rear Corrado badge in primer was about £8+vat last time I bought one and still available... this silver ones and also the VR ones are now obselete I think. The VW centre badge at the rear is about £11 (just purchased a new one!)
dinkus 10 Posted May 20, 2008 This'll piss on your parade, but the brushed metal Corrado badges aren't available any more. I think you might still be able to get them in primer black though. Not sure about the VR6 badges - they might be available in metal still, I know the red ones aren't available though. Edit: Dammit, beaten to it!
mariojoshi 1 Posted May 20, 2008 ahhh BUGGER! Don't feel like too much of a cock matey, I did the same thing the other week! The chamois ripped the DO off my CORRADO badge :(
Supercharged 2 Posted May 20, 2008 ...and I once had to change my name to Upercharged :(
MonkeyVR6 0 Posted May 20, 2008 FUCK! Where can I get a silver rear 'Corrado' badge then? Don't fancy having a primer one whacked on there, or getting it sprayed bodycolour...damn, means I'll have to look on eBay for a "Oooooohhh original rare silver rear Corrado badge, adds 5bhp" - for £100 :camp:
dinkus 10 Posted May 20, 2008 Put up a wanted thread? I'm sure there's a place that make blingy chrome ones, but I'd guess that's not really what you're after :(
MonkeyVR6 0 Posted May 20, 2008 Put up a wanted thread? I'm sure there's a place that make blingy chrome ones, but I'd guess that's not really what you're after :( The blingy chrome (and even gold 'look' plated) are 60 Euros + and then wont match the normal rear 'VR6' badge that I also need. Guess I'll put up a wanted add... *pulls pants down*

dukest 0 Posted May 20, 2008 got a new Vr6 badge about 18 months ago so think you're still ok there, they're quite shiny when they're new so spraying a primered one/buying a chrome one might not be so bad?!
