VAG-hag 0 Posted June 23, 2008 due to being in a proper tangle on a lads weekend i was in bed by 6 last night & missed it all!! whooops!! is it repeated at all in the week??
gavbs 0 Posted June 23, 2008 Good to have Sunday nights back to normal. No doubt Clarkson will be blamed when the first petrol tanker is stolen! I was fortunate enough to see it being filmed back in 2005. Was fantastic. The whole thing is done in about five hours, depending on how many takes it takes (if that makes sense!). After each segment, there's a mass brawl to get to the front behind the presenters. Girls (and blokes) were literally reapplying their make-up between each scene in case they got noticed. I was just happy to mingle round the back and check out the cars. Good day out - they should bring out an 'un-cut' version as some of the unbroadcastable jokes/comments are very close to the mark. Happy Days.

too hot 0 Posted June 23, 2008 Is it only me then that thought last nights episode was rubbish? :( All that p*sh about doing up old bangers to be police cars was just a waste of airtime. :( The extra member of the team ----- a stuntman driving an Allegro backwards trying to jump a scrap heap---- very interesting --not :) :) Surely things can only get better 8)

Sonicriot13 0 Posted June 23, 2008 i just checked the youtube video of it, and its not a corrado its a cavalier that i reckon my buddy saw  idiot! i told him at the time if there was a corrado i would of noticed There was a black Mk1 on the bottom row towards the landing ramp, though. There were loads of dubs in that pile. I'm sure I saw a mk2 and a mk3 and there was at least one polo. Oh well, it's what they would have wanted I suppose. I too have been on the list for tickets for years and years. Reckon we should all just bundle the place. A bit like my idea to bundle Area 51 in America.... Um, I've said too much.... To be honest i have to agree with too hot the stunt driver part was a bit lame. The rest of the episode was great though.

Well the Hamster's driving and judging by the job he made of the last Turbo'd V10 he drove (Cayanne Turbo) they may make a ball of metal out of it!

The_Dude 0 Posted June 29, 2008 Lookin forward to the AMG Black Series Its meant to be virtually unuseable isn't it? They've put so much power in it that it will spin its wheels in most gears if it weren't for the TC?
RallyRaddo 0 Posted June 30, 2008 Sacralidge I know, but I wouldn't say no to one of them there Evo X's

They've put so much power in it that it will spin its wheels in most gears if it weren't for the TC? Gorgeous car! It's the image Mercedes have needed for years for their sports cars. The Brabus Bullit is the C class with traction issues! Crazy power and torque

They're right about Audi drivers though, I went for a spin yesterday and all the prats were in Audis. For shame. :nono:
Jim 2 Posted July 1, 2008 Out. Now. You've got an Evo you dork!! :D Thought the Evo X looked pretty sweet too. About a thousand times nicer than the new Scooby! What were they thinking!! Gorgeous car! It's the image Mercedes have needed for years for their sports cars. Yeah - I thought it was a stunning machine. Talk about a great experience as well. Up at the crack of dawn, take it for a thrash out on some country roads and then stop at a cafe for a great big fry up. That'd do me thanks!!
