Riley 0 Posted July 7, 2008 Its more likely that when the wire is on the sender, the wire isn't earthed to the bracket...and when a temp is reached, the sender then earths to the bracket/as does the wire,making contact... :) I still can't find the bloody sender though :lol: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Toad 0 Posted August 4, 2008 That sensor is not really there to cool the water, it's actually to keep the fuel lines cool so you don't get starting issues when you've parked up and it's hot.
