daniboy1_2_3 0 Posted July 1, 2008 Hi there, just wondered if anyone could tell me how the two throttle microswitches on my g60 are wired up and how i can test them? The ones for throttle closed and fully open positions thanks.
ProdigalSon 1 Posted July 3, 2008 Yep, find the 3 pin connector at the back of the throttle body, under the scuttle tray: _DSC9054.jpg[/attachment:3i7drc7o] Unplug it and put a voltmeter (set for continuity test) across the bottom and middle pins on the throttle body connector (corresponds to red/blue and brown/white coloured wires on the loom) you should have closed circuit beepage when the Idle switch is being pressed, and open circuit when it is on part/full throttle. Likewise put the voltmeter across the top and middle pins (black/blue and brown/white coloured wires) and you should have closed circuit beepage when the WOT switch is being pressed, and open circuit when it is on Idle/part throttle. Does that help? :salute:
