i know it sounds a bit silly, basically on the bottom of the doors there are small nipples that a rubber seal fixes too, its the underside of the door, i doubht many people would of noticed them but yet again thanx to awesome gti its another peice of essential equipment that is missing from my rado...

are you sure its not just the dusty region seals that are discontinued?

I think i saw the dusty region kit fitted to a white US spec G60 at one of the shows (Tempest's car i think) and the lower seals where bigger than the standard ones.

vagcat shows them as number 23 on the diagram 535837913 for the left 535837914 for the right 21.35 euro's each.

If one of them is discontinued, you should just be able to get two of the same side and add a couple of holes as they are both the same apart from where the holes are.

the long bit of rubber, number 23 is the part im thinking of, are these not common on rados then? i went to a scrappy the other day and a 1991 16v had them, was this a standard fitment?

I have both of these (offside and nearside) on some spare early doors I have in the workshop. Would you like them? :salute:

Offside was dropped on 01/06/2005 with no replacement so its a second hand one all the way now.

How does £20 + postage for both of them sound? I'll go take some pics :salute:

Edit: I used the butter knife technique to get the strips off, not many mechanics know about it but it works well  3 of the clips pinged off into the garden though, and one was KIA

Close-up, rubber still looks in good nick. Cleaned up well too.
