IansCorrado 0 Posted July 16, 2008 Hi guys and gals, my friend Alex has finally got his website up and running for his new bodyshop. Believe me, I worked for Classic Motor Cars Ltd a few years ago (Jaguar restoration specialists) and this guys bodywork is easily up to their standard, and I never thought I would say that about anyone so this is high praise indeed. Alex restores the bodywork on anything from Alfa to Zil and as you can see from his online gallery, anything from a Corsa to a Ferrari to a classic Jag XK120. His website is www.bodybeautifulcarsltd.com with contact section on the site for a no obligation quote. Its not often I recommend someone (Im a bit of a fussy beggar when it comes to cars) and I can hand on heart say that you would have no worries in entrusting your pride and joy to these blokes. That website again: www.bodybeautifulcarsltd.com and his name is Alex
wandee 0 Posted July 16, 2008 What does he charge for a full respray?
IansCorrado 0 Posted July 16, 2008 Not too sure mate, give him a bell. He's a really approachable guy. The number is 01746 762592. Good luck! :) Bear in mind that to Alex a full respray means a bare metal respray to concours!
Sonicriot13 0 Posted July 16, 2008 Bear in mind that to Alex a full respray means a bare metal respray to concours! Er, how much does he charge for a blow over then?
IansCorrado 0 Posted July 16, 2008 I can do that for £50 and a dozen rattle cans! What I meant was, he doesn't just flat the paintwork and blow it over to make it look good. If there is rust or imperfection, he sorts it properly. :)
Sonicriot13 0 Posted July 16, 2008 Well, if his gallery is anything to go by I'm sure he's more than qualified to work on my Rado. I may give him a look when I decide to make all the panels on my car the same shade of red again. I wouldn't mind the journey either as a decent bodyshop is well worth it. VW_OwneR_85 2 Posted June 24, 2013 in regards to the "how much does he charge for a blow over /respray" posts, in car body and paint there is never a set price list, its not like a Chinese take away, it all depends on what condition your paint is in and where you go, in which case anybody giving you an accurate quote would have to inspect the car in person, if you send pics it may help your cause, but if your serious about wanting a real quote and not just a time waster let them see the car in person....
