K and N Induction kit.

Recommended Posts

I think you re-oil them every 40.000 miles with K&N filter cleaner and oil, I've attached a PDF of the instructions that come with the K&N.

Cheers

Do the induction kits need to be taken of and re-oiled the same as the panel filters?

Be careful when re-oiling not to use to much, several people have reported problems with K&N filters killing MAF sensors after re-oil

To clean them, use dilluted washing powder or one of those aerial liqui-tabs. Hell if you're feeling brave, stick it in the washing machine on a 40 deg cycle. I kid you not, I've done it in the past and it came out pure white!

The K&N cleaner is cr@p, don't waste your money.

When clean and fully dry do a couple of passes with the K&N oil and dab off any excess with Kitchen towel.
