Richie_FSOB 0 Posted August 1, 2008 Hi all, Afraid this isn't Corrado related, but I am aware that there are lots of mechanically minded people on here who hopefully can help. I have a Saab 9-3 Coupe, and about 6 weeks ago had the tracking done by ATS. They had some trouble adjusting the track rods on the near side (a lot of grunting and sweating to undo the bolts etc) Since then I have been gettiong noise from that wheel, a slight knocking, and creaking at low speed. I have looked at the track rod ends, and on that side the rubber part seems 'deflated' if you know what I mean. My question is, would this explain the noises? I did use the search, but couldn't find a match so thought i'd ask. Thanks Rich
steveo29 0 Posted August 1, 2008 grab the track rod end and wrestle it back n forth /up n down ..see if you can detect and play in it or clicking knocking sounds not sure if they did anything else...might be worth doing a spanner check in that area make sure everthing that matters is still tight
Richie_FSOB 0 Posted August 1, 2008 Will do, suppose that makes sense rather than randomly replacing parts. Thanks
