pas pump

does anyone know how to change a power steering pump on a k reg G60 and how hard it is? I wanna change mine but don't know whats involved.

There are 2 pipe fittings into the pump and about 4 or 5 13mm bolts from all sorts of wonderous angles.

 

Undo the pulley bolts before removing any belts then have a crack at the pipe fittings before working your way around the pulley to bracket bolts. There is one in particulat that it well hidden and needs a small socket and extension to reach.

 

Main problem will be finding the right sized spanner for the pipe fittings. Think it's probably around a 24mm. Your PAS fluid will escape during this, so you'll need to bleed the pump according to instructions found on here.
