PROVR6 0 Posted September 12, 2008 You may need a new lambda sensor and maybe even a new cat but there are a few things to try first. I bought my car as an MOT failure (it had failed emissions). I bought a second hand cat off of here to try and get it through its MOT. I changed all the filters, air, oil, fuel etc and changed the oil and spark plugs as the car hadn't been serviced in a while. I also filled the car hal full of high octane fuel and bought some wynns clean burn to reduce emissions. Took the car for an hours run first and it passed the MOT without using the CAT. CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted September 12, 2008 lambda readings that are out are mostley due to leaking, blowing exhausts. have you got the results so i can see the readings?

keithabc216v 0 Posted September 13, 2008 your co is low mate, rise it up,your limit is 0.3% ,can you adjust it while at the mot station? do you think its causing lambda to read wrong first test showed co to high second test throws lambda out
CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted September 13, 2008 yes it will affect it mate, they dont like to run that lean and it will knock out the lambda,go to the test station and adjust it while on the machine.
