Corrado already has the holes on the subframe.

You will have to hack off one of the subframe clips and also trim off parts of the fins of the FMIC as they don't allow the lights to fit back in.

Dependant on what FMIC you have Rallye or G60. If you have the Rallye one you will have to hack the fron towing eye support

Apart from that its a awesome fit!

PS

VW can't seem to get hold of bolt number 5

I had the bolt 5 last week, so no problem with it.

But the support 17 is not possible to buy anymore.

So I would like to know if I really need it...

You don't need no.2, I have one in my garage! You do need or could do with no.17 it supports the ali u-bend weight.

You'll need to trim the intercooler to clear the back of the headlight and the front panel but it's easy to do. My rad wouldn't sit back on the front beam due to the intercooler so I had to make a little bracket to support it. Oh and I had to bend a frontpanel to inner chassis leg link out the way to fit the golf g60 FMIC.

It's like a thick self tapping bolt that secures the radiator to the FMIC. It's about an inch and a half long and threads into the plastic hole at the front of the radiator. Once you've striped everything down you could probably get something from B&Q that would do the job. You need to be carefull with the length or you could screw into the rad to far.

Part no. is N 013 893 1. It 38mm long description is "hex head panel screw B6,3,38" The 38 means 38mm long the 3 prob means the thickness or the bolt not including thread and the B6 maybe will be the thread pitch or type!
