red-rado 0 Posted September 20, 2008 Does anyone have a diagram of what the vaccum pipes on a KR should look like? I have some very strange piping at the back of the manifold, and i have found that my vaccum advance wasnt even plugged in! I am going to unplug everything and renew all the pipes as they should be from the factory. If someone could give me some information about where the pipes should go to/from I would be extremely greatful. Cheers

red-rado 0 Posted September 20, 2008 The vaccum pipe leading from the ECU to behind the manifold. I cant see where it is supposed to go.
red-rado 0 Posted September 20, 2008 Right. I have knocked up a quick diagram on paint of my vacuum pipes. Im convinced that cant be how it came out of the factory. It looks so messy, dare i say even a bit pikey? And theres the pipe coming from the Ignition control module that just goes nowhere, i was told this was the pipe for the vaccum advance. Im hoping someone can shed some light on where that pipe should go, and how the vacuum pipes should really look. Cheers.
Toad 0 Posted September 20, 2008 That looks amazing. Do you work for Pixar? Where abouts are you in the country? Might just be easier for you to find a local with a 16v who's car you can look at? If you're in Hampshire for example, give me a shout... :)

So here's a direct link to the file:---- http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y161/Gadget_uk/16vDiagVacPipes.jpg
red-rado 0 Posted September 20, 2008 You sir, are a legend. I think the pipe has snapped off of the vacuum pipe for the servo, which means i'll have to source a new one. Thanks for the diagram mate.
