coullstar 0 Posted October 30, 2008 Does anyone have an exploded diagram of the rear set up on a VR specifically showing the position of the rear ABS ring. Its been a long time since Ive looked at rear brakes. I have 15mm spacers on the rear that Im taking off and replacing with 5mm but have to use the 15mm longer bolts. I dont want to put them on and damage the ABS rings ya see.
boost monkey 0 Posted October 30, 2008 Any good? Just a vagcat screenshot really - all the rear beams are listed with this picture.
coullstar 0 Posted October 30, 2008 Mmmm, just as I though it seems to sit round where the bearing sits. Hopefully there a bit of clearance for the bolts. Thanks.
Supercharged 2 Posted October 30, 2008 You'll be ok Greame, rears are fairly offset - it's the fronts you have to be careful with longer bolts hitting the trigger rings
boost monkey 0 Posted October 30, 2008 Shouldn't have a problem with longer bolts there, I've just pulled out one of my rear discs and the ABS cage actually shys away from the bolt holes if that makes sense? Should have clearance for another 15mm of thread.
