Anybody know of a "GOOD" garage in Kent, canterbury area?

Hi guys i need some help finding a GOOD garage in the canterbury area of kent. My VR6 has been of the road for 6 months now, and i am missing it badly!! :( I don't have the space to fix it myself, and am sick of garages who don't know about VR6's (or cars in general it seems!!), and generally don't give a shite as long as they get paid.

 

Someone please let me know of a garage that is run by a VW Enthusist or takes pride in their work in the Canterbury area.

 

PLEASE HELP. Volksline in Canterbury is defo out of the picture, so not them!!!

Id be interested to know too as Im in Canterbury. Gonna need someone with VAGCOM before the MOT to sort out my ABS Light staying on (hopefully just a sensor)

 

TBH was gonna try Volksline (not used them before). Have you had bad experiences with them?

Well firstly i find them expensive, and, i previously had a Scirrocco GTII with 60k on the clock when i bought it and a full VW service History, that was maintained, serviced and MOT'd buy them alone whilst i owned it, and the engine was dead buy 80k!!!! (NO i didn't thrash the knackers out of it!!!!!) I also let them service my Corrado once, during which they managed to break the plastic covers on the engine and refused to admit it was there fault. Which whilst not really a great amount of damage, just showed a lack of care to both the car, and the customer. Shouldn't have really gone back there after the scirocco died, but i'm not from kent originally, so don't know any good garages down here!! Hence why i put this post up.

A very good friend of mine has a small vw/audi garage near nonington. I highly recommend him, hes the only place we use if i cant/or dont have the time to do anything.

If anyone wants his number drop me a pm, i dont normally recommend eole as it normally comes back and bites you in the ass but ive got no quams in recommending clive, hes a top bloke.

yep, I highly recommend Clive. I trust him completly with my corrado-he is the only place I do trust.

Sam's Garage in Wincheap is the dogs danglies!

 

One of the best i've ever experienced. Myself and a friend wouldn't take our polo GTs and polo G40s anywhere else becuase these guys provided such a good service. When they replaced my suspension for me, wheel bolts were properly copper greased, old suspension wraped up and back in the box that the new stuff came in. Always bob on for free advice too. I miss Sam! (Not in Canters anymore)

 

It's just parallel to Wincheap high street on the industrial estate.

They aren't a VW specialist exactly, but they do things properly. Like a proper garage should!
