poll250 0 Posted March 1, 2010 Looking good Mort! Must be very exciting. I'm gonna be taking my current engine out in a few weeks too. Do you have to take the inlet off, or is just to make accessing the exhaust manifold easier? Andy
mort1414 0 Posted March 5, 2010 no need to take the inlet off it all come out quite easy really, havnt got a replacement yet just waiting for the right engine 2 come along and i keep spending the cash on other things like £150 on just fluids for the engine and other things are where the all the cash goes in a convesion like this. mort

quicky1980 0 Posted March 31, 2010 did you manage to get all the wiring a gear from the 3.2 donor? It's a pain in the ar5e to track everything down
mort1414 0 Posted April 1, 2010 yh mate i hope i havnt missed anything i have a couple fuse boxes and a giant box full of wiring and then clocks and keys that i dnt plan on using also got the pedal but clips broke as normal anyone no how much they are new? mort
swiftkid 1 Posted April 1, 2010 The pedals i believe are £100+ but i got a brand new one off ebay for about £50. As for the wiring, you should have 2 looms plugged into the ECU, providing you have both it will be fine!

mort1414 0 Posted January 11, 2011 (edited) ok guess its time for a update probably more for me to work out what to do next than for you guys current spec r32 conversion -vw ecu mapped 276bhp -dubpower manifold and decat -front Vibratechnics mount (rear and gearbox standard) -bmc -black samco's (sat in the garage) -slimline fans -mocal oil cooler racelogic traction and launch control 323 brembo front brakes mk4 rear (sat in the garage) braided hoses eibach rear arb h&r springs rear strut battery relocate to boot i think thats it, i supose the next step is to get some coilovers and theres a few bits of bodywork i want sorting. racelogic definatly glad i got this turned it of completely for the 1st time since it was fitted in the wet and the difference is unbelievable. also had it on the rollers at stealth and made 276 so was very happy about that as everything appears to running correctly. mort Edited February 19, 2011 by mort1414
