Exhaust Query (only simple but i just need reassureing)

hi guys,

 

 

just a quick 1 regarding the stock exhaust system, mine has basicly had it the front box join is hanging off :(

 

i can get my hands on a brand new 1 but they are saying its 1991 Onwards where as my Rado is an 89.

 

 

Are they the same or did VW change something between the 2 years?

VW changed the hanger types so you are correct to be concerned, you will need an earlier exhaust system.

i might fit, i think the change over the the new type were 92.......and depends on engine aswell....
