corrado 1.8t into vr6

quick question . i am trying to get the bits to gether for a conversion from vr6 to 20vt. i have been told that i can use the vr6 gearbox when doing the onversion, is this correct ? my thinking would be it would be nice to keep 5 stud hubs, bigger brakes and stronger drive shafts etc if this was so, thanks.

There have been a few threads about 1.8T conversions, you should find a fair bit of information by using the search.

 

The VR6 bellhousing won't fit a 4 cylinder block though.
