falcodub 0 Posted January 27, 2009 I am about to fit a g60 engine (out of a golf g60) into my 89 mk2 golf gti 8v and i am unsure if i can just change the main engine looms as i thought i had 90 spec fuse box. But as my car is pre aug 89 i don't think i have. Hazard light on dash. Don't tell me i'm gonna have to change the fuse box! The g60 ecu wiring is all stand alone but it has a 5 pin connector that i am unsure what to do with. How do i wire this up? What are the differences in pre 90 spec and post 90 wiring? flusted 0 Posted January 27, 2009 You would need the central electric fusebox for the g60 loom to plug straight in. Theres a wiring diagram on vortex, shouldnt be that complicated
falcodub 0 Posted January 27, 2009 Can i fit a corrado g60 fusebox then? Is there no other way of getting this in my car without changing the fuse box? What about the 5 pin connector within the g60 loom that goes to what should be a corresponding plug near ecu?
