Terencem215 0 Posted February 18, 2009 So cv joint went on my car, and when i was changing it the bearings just fell out and case was completley smashed, lol. But now the i need to get the hub nut off, and its just turning the cv, i cant find anyway to get it off, i even bent a screw driver to about 70 degrees, lol. davidwort 0 Posted February 18, 2009 get a small (3-5mm) bit and slowly drill one side of it, careful not to overheat the bit, when you've drilled into it most of the way through split the nut open with a chisel. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Terencem215 0 Posted February 19, 2009 its only attached to the hub at the moment. i put the wheel back on and lowered the car down, this stopped from turning, but the nut wont budge. is the hub nut built purposley so it doesnt come off? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
