Garage costs???

My rados going in on tuesday to have the front engine mount replaced, any idea how much its gonna cost?

its only a 15min job to do it yourself, i would not pay a garage to do it.

im pretty useless when it comes to engine work so i dont have a clue how to change it, im a paint sprayer so bodywork is my area of expertese lol

 

any idea of costs?

At a guess £25 plus VAT and parts? not sure on the cost of the mount though

what's your engine? - stick some details in your sig, saves questions :)

 

the front mount is pretty easy, it's only a couple of nuts and all you need to do is support the engine with a block of wood and a jack under the sump.

 

if somewhere does do it for you it really can't be more than 30 mins labour (min charge at most places)

I have just replaced the front engine mount on mine and it was £60 for the part. VR6 that is.

Just went to my local unipart and they quoted me 50 for a new one, Getting it from GSF though £34 posted
