Adski 0 Posted April 2, 2009 well im planning on Servicing the G this Weekend, Looked in a few books, and its recommending 10w40 Semi Synthetic, So i thought Castrol Mangatec, Anyone got anyother Recommendations? shawshankkid 1 Posted April 2, 2009 I've been using silkolene pro s 10/50 in my G60 for the last 6 months recommended by opie oils, got to say it's been brilliant, not cheap at about £47 for 5ltr but i suppose you get what you pay for....don't use magnatec thats pants, you might as well use beetlejuice. What have you used in the past? :shrug: Adam. I've never owned a G60, but everything I've owned tends to get a decent quality 10w40 semi-synthetic, changed every 6 months. If it meets (& exceeds) the manufacturers recommendations (I think VW run from 500 onwards). Your local motor factors should have something relatively decent that doesn't break the bank.
