voo51 0 Posted April 21, 2009 My horn had been working intermitently for a little while, then one day it just stopped working. Since then I have changed the steering wheel, it still doesn't work. I have checked the fuses and discovered there is an air horn fitted. I have no idea what to look at now as I know nothing about horns!! Plus, my MOT is due soon! Can anyone shed any light on where to look next??!
Roger Blassberg 0 Posted April 22, 2009 The horn is connected through a relay on the fuseboard, I can't remember which one. Also, there is a sliding contact behind the steering wheel, a copper spring onto a circular track either of which may be dirty. Best wishes RB
boost monkey 0 Posted April 22, 2009 Good places to start looking. It's easy for bits of dirt to clog the horn itself, might be worth locating it and giving it a clean and retying it.
voo51 0 Posted April 26, 2009 That is great thankyou. Once it comes out of the body shop I will give it a clean!
