Dave.Warlord 0 Posted April 24, 2009 Before I fit my spare charger is there anything I should do first? Like lube or whatever. Its sat in the garage for a 2 years or so. Got it from a mate that wrecked his raylle 2k after a stage 4 rebuild and mine wants a rebuild so now its time to fit the baby
Riley 0 Posted April 25, 2009 Some say to disconnect the main ht lead and turn the engine over for a bit, but imo its better to just fire it up and get full oil pump pressure asap. I guess you could sneak a little fresh engine oil in the feed hole (uppermost) ? But the bearings (after a rebuild) should be well greased up anyway for quick running in. Neil. Dave.Warlord 0 Posted April 28, 2009 Also gonna change the chargers little timing belt. Is there any special way or do you just pull it off and put the new one on?
