mariojoshi 1 Posted May 2, 2009 Hey guys and gals, As above, does anyone have the P/N for the front wishbone bush from the Audi TT 3.2 quattro? Believed to be the same as the Golf R32? Not sure which MK though. Got the rear ones already, so just need some data for the fronts. Thanks, Josh P.S - Nothing in terms of part numbers has come up in the search.... _leon_ 0 Posted May 3, 2009 would you mind listing the bushes and part numbers that youre fitting pls mate?
dinkus 10 Posted May 3, 2009 8N0407181B is that part number for the TT donut bushes that go into the rear of the front wishbones. I bought and used these on my car :) It's the same part used on the S3 and from what ETKA says - all Mk4 4Motion/R32s and Beetles. The 182A part number that mariojoshi quoted is the sausage-shaped front wishbone bush that I've got no idea about.
mariojoshi 1 Posted May 3, 2009 Thats the one Dinkus... I've got the doughnut ones already, they're solid rubber rather than kinda... dimpled with holes, so should tighten things up a bit. The front ones, (P/N) is correct then by the sounds of things are indeed the sausage shaped ones. Again, the TT/R32 ones are meant to be a bit more solid. mariojoshi 1 Posted October 22, 2009 Only bought the REAR TT/R32 Doughnut shaped ones - decided to go with OE standards for the fronts.
VRTrickster 0 Posted November 4, 2009 I read on the Corrado club Canada about trimming some of the rubber off the bottom of the bush around the centre cylinder 3 or 4mm so it slips into the c shape lip on the subframe. Has anyone done this with theres, or just bolted them straight on?
