Corrado Euge 0 Posted June 11, 2009 As title says. I turn the key, fuel pump primes but it doesn't turnover. It does start every now and then. Had AA out and they found power goin into the starter motor but not doing anything after. He said the fault is there. Changed the starter motor but still no difference. Any suggentions would be great.

Corrado Euge 0 Posted June 11, 2009 I'm pretty sure they are all ok. I can only think of a ignition fault or immobiliser not imobilising. Anyway of checking this?
CazzaVR 0 Posted June 11, 2009 Ignition switch is worth a look. Not sure how you test it, but it's prob worth changing - especially if it's the white version.

Sounds like it could be the ignition switch they melt at the bottom as mine did a few years ago. Very annoying!! :mad2: Try wiggling the key around in the barrel before you try starting the car if its starts everytime after that then it could well be the ignition switch. Not too expensive either mine was £10ish at the time
