G60 inlet charge temps?

If you were to measure the temp in a fmic on a g60, what sort of figures would you expect?

BTW ive seen 35c in my air box over the past couple of days...So whats the possible temp after going through the charger?

Superchargers will always be cooler than Turbos but my inlet temp just after throttle body on a hot day can rang from 35-40 on the moove/flat out.

 

Nice cool day flat out its no more than 30deg 8)

 

and the air temp out the turbo side can range once flat out 120-150 deg!

 

only way you will know is to fit a inlet temp sensor and gauge bud.

Cheers mate, Im actually looking at fitting one, but im just needing to know the scale i need 8)

 

If i stuck the sensor in my intercooler (there is a flange i can tap) would a gauge reading a max of 40c be up to the job you think?

i read more than 40deg often! so cant say what yours will be mate.

Wouldn't the optimum place for the sensor be in the inlet manifold?

Aye, good for those who are a little more seriously into it than me i suppose...probably along with an EGT gauge/sensor too.

 

But what i have is the outside temp sender sat in the air box (shows on dash) so i wanted to see the temp in the intercooler to see the effect really, basically the diffarence in temps from air box to intercooler.

 

I've got the gauge/sender, just need a new intercooler/bumper set up :roll:

I am looking to install a fmic. Any sugestions on the best set up for a Corrado g60 would be appreciated.
